- Educational imaging data: de-identified medical or dental images you upload and related usage metadata when using our analysis features.
- Technical data: standard server logs (e.g., IP address, browser type, timestamps) needed to operate and secure the site.

We use personal information to:
- Respond to enquiries and project requests.
- Send newsletter content you have opted in to receive.
- Authenticate you and provide access to protected features.
- Process uploaded images through our AI analysis service and return structured results.
- Maintain security, prevent abuse, and improve the reliability of the website.
We do not sell your personal information. Furthermore, images uploaded to our analysis tool are processed solely for generating your immediate result; they are not used by us to train foundational AI models.
4. Third-party services
We use trusted providers to run parts of this site. They process data on our behalf under their own strict privacy terms:
- Mailjet — contact form delivery and newsletter management.
- Supabase — user authentication and account-related storage.
- Google (Gemini API) — processing images submitted for analysis.
Important Note on Uploads: Our service is designed for educational and practice purposes. You must strictly de-identify and anonymize all images before uploading. Do not upload images containing Personally Identifiable Information (PII) or Protected Health Information (PHI) such as patient names, dates of birth, or record numbers.
5. Cookies and local storage
We use essential cookies and similar technologies solely to keep you signed in and to protect the site. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
6. Retention
We keep information only as long as needed: enquiry records for a reasonable business period, newsletter data until you unsubscribe, account data while your account is active, and usage logs as required for billing and security. You may delete your account or ask us to delete your data at any time.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under UAE and GDPR data protection laws), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal data. To exercise these rights, email hello@waelmade.com.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

This site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
